The Broncos started off as small team in 1960 but later came to be known as being one of the most successful teams in the NFL with a huge fan following, especially since they made it the Super Bowl six times, winning it the last two times.

The Broncos went on to win their first Super Bowl in 1997 under head coach Mike Shanahan where they beat the Green Bay Packers 31-24. They won it again the next year where they defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-19.

In their career, which really took off in 1977, they have won six AFC Conference championships, ten AFC West Division championships and the Super Bowl twice. For a team which had a barren beginning and almost lost its franchise in 1965, this is a great achievement.

In their initial years, the Denver Broncos played in Mile High Stadium which was their home field. This stadium was renowned for its reputation to have all but two of its games sold out from 1970 to 2006. It was demolished eventually and the Broncos new home field is the Invesco Field at Mile High where they have been playing since 2001.
